GOOGLE MAPS WORKSHOP
Google Maps
Google Indonesia
Background:
Google is launching their newest innovation - Two Wheeler feature which gives direction for motorcycle riders on Google Maps.
But the big question is figuring out the best approach to introduce this highly relevant feature to the Indonesian market.
What We Did:
We created and hosted a 1-day brand hack session to generate ideas with social as the main anchor.
I managed and prepared the run-down, while also moderated the workshop.
Stimulus:
Bebaskan Pemotor
(Let Bikers Be Free!)
Traffic in Jakarta has gotten so bad that even motorcycle can't move sometimes. Being stuck and motionless on a bike is hugely frustrating, as the discomforts, e.g. extreme weather and pollution
are even more pronounced.
This is where the new Two Wheeler feature comes in handy. By using smaller roads accessible only by motorbike, they can zip past the congestion – even if it means taking a longer route.
Results from the workshop are further developed by the creatives in order to support the launch of Google Maps Two Wheeler.
